Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking an Academic Personnel Analyst responsible for analysis and advisory support for academic personnel activities within the School of Medicine. The role includes handling recruitments, payroll records, and policy guidance in collaboration with department staff.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, customer service excellence, and strong communication. It is a hybrid role with a mix of on-site and remote work within the UC Davis Health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Five years of administrative work experience in an academic setting.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate large volumes of work and establish priorities.
• Excellent customer service.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to effectively respond in a professional manner by email, in person or by telephone.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in an independent, as well as, a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and maintain confidentiality in an academic setting while understanding University polices regarding the confidentiality of academic personnel information.
