Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to join its U.S. delivery teams. You will connect 4D models with construction schedules, evaluate sequencing, and help advance 5D workflows across multiple projects worldwide.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in BIM/VDC, hands-on experience with SYNCHRO or Fuzor, Revit and Navisworks, and a collaborative mindset to work across time zones. The role supports hybrid work between Jacobs offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC experience with hands-on 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Experience with SYNCHRO or Fuzor; Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they link to model elements; Primavera P6 is valuable.
• Experience organizing model information via Revit parameters and element coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar tools.
• Prepare/structure/vet model data, including Revit parameters and element coding.
• Evaluate sequencing, identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions.
• Keep models/current as designs/schedules change; pivot between projects.
• Coordinate with an international team, set priorities and ensure quality handoffs.
• Improve workflows and test tools/automation to speed up delivery.
• Help develop 5D workflows linking quantities, schedules, and costing data.
• Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively.
