Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an on-site Software Engineer for Hardware-In-the-Loop flight simulators used to test missile systems. You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver real-time software that controls HWIL facilities and supports hardware integration.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering and at least 2 years of C++ experience with OO design. DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with eligibility for program access after start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or STEM field.
• 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience in C++ with OO features and real-time systems.
• Eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance before start.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to control HWIL flight simulators.
• Analyze end-user needs and ensure hardware/software standards.
• Design build procedures supporting hardware and software product development.
• Perform software design, coding and integration in real-time.
• May train others in configuration management tools and software quality standards.
