Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) team designing, building and integrating state-of-the-art missile flight simulators.

You will develop real-time software, collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers, and help implement build procedures while ensuring compliance with software and hardware standards. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience across Agile lifecycle in C/C++, Python or OOP languages; real-time integration.
• Active and transferable Secret DoD clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop software to control Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) facilities (flight simulators for missiles).
• Design, code and integrate in a real-time environment.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve end-user needs and ensure standards.
• Design and implement build procedures for hardware/software development.
