Job summary

Haywire Uptown in Dallas, TX is seeking a Line Cook to join our team for dinner service. We prioritize hospitality and high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include reading tickets, preparing menu items, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment per regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years line cook experience; steakhouse experience a plus.
• Ability to read tickets and recipes.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proper knife handling and equipment use.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification.

Company's Comin' and that means we need a Line Cook who treats our Guests like family joining us for Sunday dinner. Everybody’s taken care of here and welcomed with open arms. We provide a locally sourced menu that guests can depend on every time, so cowboy up - it’s time to impress!

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred, steak house experience a plus
• Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
