Job summary

Haywire is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep the kitchen running smoothly in a Texas hospitality-driven environment. You will be part of the heart of the house, ensuring dishes sparkle and the back-of-house team can work efficiently.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, reading chemical labels, and maintaining food-safety standards. Training and opportunities for advancement are available within our growing brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year dishwasher experience preferred; high volume experience a plus.
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels.
• Stand for long periods and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; sanitation procedures must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Keep a clean, safe, and sanitary dish area in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ensure every plate, fork, glass, and bowl sparkle and shine.
• Support back-of-house operations and maintain Texas hospitality standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year steward or dishwasher experience preferred, high volume experience a plus
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city and company regulations
