Job summary

Haywire in Irving, TX is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen and reflect true Texas hospitality. You will keep dishware clean, support back-of-house operations, and help maintain a safe, organized dining environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dishwashing experience, read chemical labels, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. E-Verify participation is noted by the employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year steward or dishwasher experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels.
• Stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; follow sanitation procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Keep dish area organized and efficient.
• Ensure every plate, fork, glass, and bowl sparkles and shines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Balance Texas hospitality with efficiency in the back of house.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year steward or dishwasher experience preferred, high volume experience a plus
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city and company regulations
