Job summary

Haywire in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to uphold Texas hospitality in every corner of the kitchen and dining area. You will help ensure spotless dishes and glassware while supporting a fast-paced service.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and attention to detail. Must stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, read chemical labels, and maintain proper sanitation. We participate in the E-Verify program to verify employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year steward or dishwasher experience preferred, high volume experience a plus.
• Must be able to read and understand chemical uses and labels.
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city and company regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dishes, glassware, utensils sparkle and shine and are returned to service quickly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary back-of-house area.
• Follow chemical handling labels and maintain proper sanitation procedures.
