Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions seeks an HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor for construction & commissioning on large HVDC projects. This remote role involves supervising subcontractor installation on site, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The candidate will coordinate with site management, participate in planning, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation in English. Requires 3+ years in HVDC/substation projects and a technical engineering degree.

Qualifications

Technical education with degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in supervision or site management in large-scale HVDC/substation projects.
Strong health and safety mindset aligned with international standards.
Clear verbal and written reporting in English.

Responsibilities

Supervise HVDC valve installation activities, including valve cooling system, performed by subcontractors.
Coordinate with Site Management Team and internal/external stakeholders for on-site installation.
Provide guidance, training and support to installation subcontractors.
Ensure documentation, ITPs, and as-built drawings are prepared and maintained.
