Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions is seeking an HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor for a remote role in the United States. You will supervise valve and cooling system installation on HVDC projects performed by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with ITPs and project documentation.

The role emphasizes functional leadership without direct reports, focusing on safety, quality, and on-site coordination with the Site Management Team and internal stakeholders to keep multi-site HVDC deployments on

Qualifications

Technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
3+ years of supervision or site management in HVDC/substation projects.
Strong health and safety mindset and ability to stop unsafe work.
Excellent communication and leadership; English required.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation of HVDC valves and valve cooling system by subcontractors.
Ensure quality control per ITPs and review installation docs and test reports.
Coordinate with Site Management Team and internal/external stakeholders.
Provide guidance and training to installation subcontractor; troubleshoot issues.
