Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Senior Project Lead Engineer for HVDC.

You will own technical delivery on complex HVDC projects and tenders, coordinating global, multidisciplinary teams and serving as the main technical interface with customers and key stakeholders. The role requires a university degree in engineering, 5+ years in technical leadership, HVDC experience is a plus, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or related).
5+ years in a technical leadership role on complex projects.
HVDC experience is a strong plus.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Authorized to work in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders throughout project execution.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across global teams.
Lead development of technical solutions for HVDC projects and tenders.
Drive engineering progress while supporting schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments.
Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project documentation deliverables.
