Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in the Greater Atlanta Area. The role supports refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls, collaborating with sales teams to win OEM opportunities and ensure successful deployments.

A BS in Engineering or related field and 2 years in food retail/foodservice roles are required. The position is hybrid in nature, based in Kennesaw, GA, with travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering advanced control solutions

Qualifications

• Two years of food retail or foodservice product development/engineering/field service/technical support or related experience.
• Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice, including E3, Site Supervisor, distributed controls.
• Hands-on experience with Food Retail/Foodservice Building Management Software.
• Demonstrated success in technical role in food retail/foodservice or similar industry.
• Ability to travel 40-50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted customer partner and technical subject matter expert for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and services.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support customer engagements.
• Create high level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities including BOMs and integrations.
• Work with Copeland execution teams to ensure successful deployment of controls and services.
• Maintain customer focus across land, implement and expand phases of the sales cycle.
