Job summary

Baker Distributing in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage inventory and handle daily transfer of HVAC freight and materials in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on procuring, picking, processing, and dispatching products to customers and vendors for our HVAC distribution operation.

You will perform order picking, quality inspections, stock merchandise, operate forklifts, and assist with inventory counts and safety training while upholding our standards of accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HVAC equipment in a wholesale distribution setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers and meet production standards weekly.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy of received, picked and shipped items.
• Daily loading/unloading of products for delivery to customers and Sales Centers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise; prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Maintain daily forklift and truck maintenance checklists; ensure safety protocols.
• Assist management with inventory counts and daily warehouse upkeep.
