Job summary

Tropic Supply, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to empower HVAC consultants, resource centers, and customers with expert technical solutions.

You will troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and support training efforts to uphold our high service standards. Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Spanish, have 4–7 years of field experience, and can travel up to 50% within the trading area.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of field experience or equivalent training.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel within trading area.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls from internal and external customers to resolve technical issues.
• Provide accurate technical documentation to contractors and team members.
• Visit job sites when issues can’t be resolved over the phone or video.
• Log all activity in our customer relationship management platform.
• Design and deliver group and individual trainings (in person or via video).
• Help contractors improve installation and maintenance procedures.
• Onboard new techs and customers, introducing them to our product lines.
