Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking a Service Technical Support Specialist to support Carrier Distributors in developing and coordinating the Territory’s service fulfillment processes. The role requires electrical or mechanical engineering background, fluency in English and Spanish, and travel up to 50% to field sites.

Responsibilities include implementing safety standards, supervising job sites, providing technical training, and feedback to centers of excellence on quality issues.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; or seven (7) years technical field experience in HVAC equipment.
• Familiarity with energy management systems, HVAC systems, temperature controls.
• Carrier/Automated Logic Controls knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the technical team.

Responsibilities

• Works with Carrier Distributors to establish required talent and resources.
• Work to ensure the implementation of the Safety Standards.
• Provides feedback to the Centers of Excellence on quality issues.
• Maintains quality standards by supervising and inspecting job sites.
• Responsible for internal communications flow relative to the technical fulfillment process.
• Responsible for Service Technical Support
• Responsible for Estimator for Service implementation and execution
• Responsible for providing feedback on technical trainings needed
• Responsible for conducting Technical Training as required
• Responsible for evaluation and processing of Shipped Products Defect
• Travel throughout the Territory. (50%)
• Other duties may be assigned.
