Job summary

Watsco in Miami, FL is seeking a Service Technical Support Specialist to support Carrier Distributors in developing, implementing, and coordinating the Territory’s service fulfillment processes.

Qualifications include Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or 7 years HVAC field experience; English and Spanish proficiency; familiarity with energy management systems; Carrier/Automated Logic knowledge is a plus. The role requires travel about 50% of the time and office/field work in Miami.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent; or seven (7) years technical field experience in HVAC equipment.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in operation processes associated with service of HVAC equipment.
• Familiarity with energy management systems; Carrier/Automated Logic Controls knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works with Carrier Distributors to establish required talent and resources.
• Work to ensure the implementation of the Safety Standards.
• Provides feedback to the Centers of Excellence on quality issues.
• Maintains quality standards by supervising and inspecting job sites.
• Responsible for internal communications flow relative to the technical fulfillment process.
• Responsible for Service Technical Support.
• Responsible for Estimator for Service implementation and execution.
• Responsible for providing feedback on technical trainings needed.
• Responsible for conducting Technical Training as required.
• Responsible for evaluation and processing of Shipped Products Defect.
• Travel throughout the Territory. (50%)
• Other duties may be assigned.
