Job summary

BHCC seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Heat Pump and HVAC Training Network grant at the Charlestown campus with frequent visits to the Chelsea site. The role focuses on building and scaling HVAC training pathways, recruiting students, and coordinating instructors and spaces.

You will work with the Grants Development Office to manage documentation, budget, and advisory partnerships. This in-person position offers state benefits and grant-funded terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in education, training, or program management.
• Technical HVAC certification and related field experience preferred.
• Experience managing budgets and coordinating complex programs.
• Experience with diverse learners and non-native English speakers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the program in coordination with leadership.
• Recruit and enroll students into the program.
• Monitor student retention and progress through the program.
• Schedule classes and maintain training space readiness.
• Manage instructors and program administration.
• Coordinate with grants, facilities, and suppliers to complete space setup by January 2027.
