Job summary

Bunker Hill Community College seeks a Program Coordinator for its Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Heat Pump and HVAC Training Network grant. The role launches in early 2027 in Chelsea, MA, reporting to the Interim Assistant Director of Workforce Trades and Training Programs.

You will coordinate all program aspects and help build career pathways in HVAC occupations. The Coordinator will work within BHCC’s Workforce Development Division, oversee instructors and space readiness, and ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education and/or related field plus relevant training or experience.
HVAC maintenance certifications and minimum two years in HVAC-related role.
Experience with grant administration, budgeting, and program management is desirable.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the program, coordinating with leadership.
Recruitment and enrollment of students into the program.
Monitor and support student retention and progress for up to 6 months post completion.
Schedule classes and manage training space and resources.
Hire and manage program instructors and oversee budgeting for the grant.
Prepare documentation and reports with the Grants Development Office.
