Bunker Hill Community College is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Heat Pump and HVAC Training Network grant program. The role launches in early 2027 and is based at BHCC's Charlestown campus with frequent visits to the Chelsea training site.

The coordinator will recruit students, manage classes, track progress, hire instructors, and coordinate with the Grants Development Office to ensure accreditation and grant compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years related experience in college registration, advisement, or program management.
• HVAC credentials and minimum 2 years related work experience.
• Experience with budgets and grant administration.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with non-native English speakers and low-income adults in training settings.

Responsabilités

• Oversee program with the Interim Assistant Director of Workforce Trades and Training Programs.
• Recruit and enroll students into the program.
• Schedule classes and track progress through 6 months post completion.
• Hire instructors and manage program administration.
• Coordinate training space layout, equipment, and safety.
• Maintain grant budget and interface with Grants Management Office.
• Build partnerships with employers and training providers for job placement.
• Prepare EPA 608 accreditation and maintain standards.
