Southern Home Services in Kissimmee, FL seeks an HVAC Training Manager to develop, implement, and oversee training programs for technicians and managers. Travel up to 50% to coach teams and drive improvements across sites, delivering hands-on sessions and classroom instruction.

This exempt role requires deep HVAC expertise, strong facilitation, and the ability to design comprehensive curricula, safety training, and ongoing professional development for staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in-depth HVAC knowledge and industry standards.
• Excellent facilitation skills to engage technicians and serve as SME.
• Training content development using PowerPoint and guides.
• Strong communication across diverse audiences and teams.
• Ability to lead and mentor technicians.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for HVAC technicians and managers.
• Visit company sites to coach improvements in one-on-one and group settings.
• Create training materials, manuals, presentations, job-aids, and videos.
• Conduct seminars and hands-on training in classrooms and HVAC labs.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring, including ride-alongs.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulatory compliance are trained.
• Collaborate with departments to meet training needs and goals.
• Manage vendor curricula for HVAC products and project initiatives.
