Frank Gay Commercial Services seeks an experienced HVAC/R Field Supervisor to lead and supervise service and installation teams in Central Florida. You will train technicians, conduct quality and safety inspections, and resolve field issues to uphold company standards.

Ideal candidates bring a strong diagnostic background, the ability to train others, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of Commercial HVAC/R experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair service.
• Must have the ability to train others.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect all HVAC/R field technicians and helpers.
• Coach and train technicians on customer service, technical knowledge, and company products.
• Coordinate with dispatch, sales, and account management to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Plan, forecast, and communicate goals and expectations to the team.
• Incorporate safety topics into coaching, meetings, and training sessions.

Overview

The HVACR Field Supervisor is primarily responsible to supervise all Sevice and Installation Technicians and helpers. Facilitates quality/field safety inspections and completes customer service calls to job sites. Coach and train technicians on customer service, technical & mechanical knowledge, and company products and services.

Responsibilities

• The HVAC/R Field Supervisor facilitates and performs quality and safety inspections on new Installations. Troubleshoot, and resolve installation and start-up issues.
• Provide consistent and accurate feedback, encouragement, support, professional development, and coaching to technicians.
• The HVAC/R field supervisor will partner with, dispatch, sales, account management, and other necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Plan, forecast, and coordinate jobs. Communicate clear goals and expectations to technicians.
• Ensure that safety topics are incorporated into one-to-one coaching conversations, weekly meetings, and training sessions. Monitor and act on trends involving Installation Technician callbacks and service opportunities.

Required Education and Experience

• At least 10 years of Commercial HVAC/R experience with diagnostic troubleshooting and repair service experience
• Must have the ability to train others.
• Must have valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Acceptable criminal background check
