Job summary

Baker Distributing Company in Omaha, NE, is looking for a Sales Representative to manage HVAC residential and contractor sales across a designated territory, supporting multiple brands and equipment lines.

You will build lasting client relationships, solicit new accounts, and deliver comprehensive solutions through strong product knowledge, presentations, and proactive service. Travel and a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or related field.
• 2–4 years of HVAC sales experience required.
• Experience with wholesale HVAC equipment supply house is desirable.
• Proven sales/marketing background with knowledge of HVAC equipment at wholesale level.
• Experience with residential and commercial contractor relationships desirable.
• Valid driver’s license required only if driving is essential.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
• Secure maximum market share and sales dollars per established policies.
• Solicit new accounts and dealers; develop market strategies.
• Maintain direct contact with assigned accounts; foster new relationships.
• Proactively pursue sales development and problem solving.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
• Host dealer meetings, conferences, and industry events; participate in trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
