Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an HVAC Territory Manager to drive growth across the Baltimore market. This field-based role builds strong contractor relationships, identifies opportunities, and delivers HVAC solutions with support from national scale, vendor partnerships, and a robust escalation path.

You will manage residential and light commercial accounts, collaborate with branches and vendors, and stay ahead of market trends while maintaining a disciplined pipeline and consistent growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of outside sales or account management experience in HVAC or related industries.
• Experience selling to residential and/or light commercial contractors.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow an assigned HVAC territory by building strong contractor relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Serve as a consultative partner by understanding contractor workflows and equipment needs.
• Collaborate with branch teams, vendor partners, and internal specialists to ensure accurate quoting and fulfillment.
• Analyze territory performance and market trends to implement effective sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and customer activity in CRM tools.
