Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician I to support preventative, corrective, and general maintenance of HVAC systems for our client.

You will perform tests, rounds, and data analysis to ensure proper operation, maintain safety standards, and assist the Facility Maintenance Manager. The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC operations, a Universal Refrigeration License, a HS diploma, and at least six years of related experience; a valid driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; formal HVAC training completed.
• Six (6) or more years related experience required.
• Must possess Universal Refrigeration License and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, boilers, and controls.
• Operate and monitor chillers, refrigerants, pumps, and piping; record readings.
• Respond to heating and cooling issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain documentation and logs; coordinate with CMMS planner.
