Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, install, and inspect commercial and industrial HVAC systems across our facilities portfolio. You will supervise others, read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure energy-efficient operation.

A valid EPA608 certification, extensive HVAC knowledge, and a clean driving record are required; multiple certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC system knowledge and experience in maintenance, repair, and installation.
• EPA608 Universal Certification and related refrigerant handling know-how required.
• Experience reading system blueprints and performance data; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Study system blueprints and specifications to determine configuration of components.
• Inspect systems to verify compliance and detect malfunctions.
• Start systems, monitor operation, read gauges, and adjust controls and pumps.
• Monitor Energy Management System alarms and take appropriate actions.
• Respond to temperature-related issues and discuss malfunctions with users.
• Record readings and maintenance logs; maintain inventory and tools; perform preventative maintenance.
