Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies is seeking a Technical Service Manager for our branch operations group. Location is remote but local to the East Texas/Louisiana region.

You will support customers installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, and conduct seasonal technical training for dealers and contractors. You will work with branch staff, Territory Sales, and external partners to ensure customer satisfaction and meet department goals, while guiding field technicians and providing analysis

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years technical support experience in HVAC field.
• Minimum 1 year of technical training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, prompt, and empathetic technical support to customers.
• Deliver technical expertise for product reliability investigations.
• Gather Voice of the Customer to monitor quality and address needs at job sites.
• Complete field service reports documenting issues and resolutions.
• Evaluate product installation and operation at customer sites using manuals.
• Support service bulletins and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee warranty replacements and labor allowances.
• Train and audit independent distributor trainers and technical managers.
