Job summary
Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems, is launching the Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program in Houston. This 6-month development track targets recent engineering graduates aiming to start a technical sales career with structured training, mentoring, and hands-on customer interactions.
From day one, you'll gain exposure to HVAC equipment and services, support proposals, and build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners while developing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an anticipated graduation Dec 2026 or May/Jun 2027.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured 6-month sales development program
- Learn Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions
- Support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities
- Build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners
- Present technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability
- Partner with local sales and operations teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
