Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking an HVAC Technician to support Veteran communities in Alabama. The position is a 1-year contract based in Montgomery/Tuskegee with a 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, Monday–Friday (holidays excluded).

The role requires OSHA 30-hour certification, 3+ years of HVAC experience in construction, and ability to work in challenging environments. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Position Highlights

  • Pay: $25.32+ per hour
  • Contract Type: 1-year contract
  • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
• 3+ years of professional HVAC Tech experience and knowledge in the construction field
• OSHA 30-hour construction certification
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Work at heights and climb ladders.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Work in high temperatures.
• Work in a noisy environment.
• Work may involve potential hazardous exposures such as asbestos, machine parts, soot, dirt, grease, chemicals, oil, and fumes.
• Ability to function safely while wearing a respirator - Work requiring an OSHA-approved respirator and proper fit tested.
• Standing and bending for long periods of time.
• Previous experience with the VA is a plus.
