Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting HVAC Tech/Mechanics to support the North Texas VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with changes possible at direction of Ansible or its customers.

The role requires active Texas HVAC License, Siemens Controls Training, and OSHA certification, with at least 4 years of journeyman-level HVAC experience in large commercial or hospital settings. On-site work at the Dallas facility is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years journeyman-level refrigeration and air conditioning experience
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and chilled water systems
• Experience repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large commercial HVAC systems
• Hospital or critical infrastructure environment experience preferred
• Active Texas HVAC License required
• Siemens Controls Training certification required
• OSHA Certification required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, repair, and maintain refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and chilled water systems.
• Work on equipment ranging from small domestic units to systems up to 300 HP and central plants up to 500 tons.
• Inspect HVAC and refrigeration equipment for proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and both major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot refrigerant leaks, mechanical failures, and control systems.
• Service compressors and HVAC components.
• Adjust, calibrate, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic controls.
• Perform chemical treatment of HVAC water systems.
• Coordinate daily work assignments with the VA COR.
• Provide daily reports including completed work, preventive maintenance, parts replaced, equipment serviced, and follow-up needs.
• Complete daily timecards and documentation of work performed.
• Follow VA check-in/check-out procedures and safety requirements.

Shift schedule will typically be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Physical and Compliance
