Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking an HVAC Tech to support the Veteran community in the Montgomery, AL area. This is a 1-year contract with a pay rate starting at $25.32 per hour, working 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Candidates must have 3+ years of professional HVAC experience in construction, OSHA 30-hour certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs., work at heights, in confined spaces, and wear a respirator when required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional HVAC Tech experience in construction.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Work at heights and climb ladders.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Work in high temperatures.
• Work in a noisy environment.
• Hazardous exposures such as asbestos, soot, chemicals.
• Respirator use per OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance: change filters, clean coils, check system performance.
• Inspect HVAC systems for wear and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions; replace motors, compressors, thermostats.
• Monitor/adjust central air for patient care areas; ensure IAQ and humidity control.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and hospital departments for seamless operation.
