Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Facilities Service Tech II to perform inspections, diagnostics, testing, repairs, and planned maintenance of commercial HVAC systems. The role ensures efficient, reliable operation while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years hands-on HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a two-year technical degree is preferred. On-site work, travel, and service contract execution are key elements of this position.

Qualifications

• HVAC technician with 2–5 years of hands-on service experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience and a high school diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical degree preferred; relevant licenses/certifications as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and optimize performance of HVAC systems including split, mini-split, RTUs, WSHPs, CRAC units, chillers, and airside equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble HVAC equipment for troubleshooting and planned maintenance per service agreements.
• Fulfill service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls while maintaining profitability.
• Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to their satisfaction.
• Participate in technician on-call standby rotation per policy.

AHU operation theory
