Job summary

The Systems Engineer Intern role at Trane Supply is a high-visibility position on the Systems Engineering Team, contributing to HVAC embedded controllers, UI, and digital offerings. You will help define system designs, interfaces, and architectures for new products.

This internship involves collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, sales, quality, supply chain and operations to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering.
• Basic hardware and software design knowledge is a plus.
• HVAC controls experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test in product development.
• Define system architecture and decompose into requirements.
• Lead design reviews and technical project reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, sales, quality, supply chain and operations.
