Job summary

Trane Technologies in Valley View, OH seeks a Systems Account Manager to build long-term relationships with consulting engineers, contractors and building owners, delivering total HVAC solutions and driving energy efficiency across buildings.

You will manage project take-off, pricing, and consult on HVAC systems, guiding customers through the sales process with a focus on value, performance, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of demonstrated experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS).
• 2+ years experience of solution sales experience.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Communication and ability to build relationships, entrepreneurial drive, ability to “close”, organization skills, time management skills.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead project take-off, selection, proposal pricing and selling strategy, and integration of equipment, controls, and services.
• Provide knowledge and consultation in HVAC system related solutions including financial and performance considerations.
• Identify customer needs and market opportunities; assemble and coordinate acquisition teams for projects.
• Convert leads into opportunities by assigning sales processes and next steps.
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans to foster long-term partnerships.
• Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems and Trane products.
• Plan your day and visit customers.
