Zusammenfassung

Modigent is seeking an entry-level Service Retrofit Start Up Technician I to support experienced technicians in commercial HVAC retrofits, startup, and commissioning across diverse settings. You will learn startup procedures, refrigerant handling, and best practices through on-the-job training and assigned coursework.

You will gain hands-on experience with basic installations, observations, documentation, and customer communication while advancing toward journeyman level in a safety-first

Qualifikationen

• Basic mechanical aptitude and tool familiarity.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt quickly.
• Customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Aufgaben

• Assist senior technicians with basic installations, repairs, and startups on DX split systems and related equipment.
• Support brazing copper lines, component replacement, system charging, and basic testing under supervision.
• Prepare tools/parts, document findings, take photos, and complete basic work orders.
• Document work by completing paperwork and maintaining records; communicate observations to dispatcher.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with loading/unloading equipment.
