Job summary

McClure Company Service is seeking a confident and initiative-taking technical sales professional to grow our HVAC Mechanical Services business within the Virginia/DC region. This position is responsible for building an additional customer base and developing strong business relationships.

The base pay range is $100,000–$110,000 per year, excluding commissions. We offer 100% paid medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and eligible dependents, with a full-time Monday‑Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of proven HVAC industry experience with target markets.
• At least 2 years of proven solution-selling experience with target markets.
• HVAC field experience preferred.
• Professional, dynamic presence and ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Initiative‑taking with a relentless sales focus.
• Excellent written and verbal skills at a technical and professional level.
• Ability to work independently in a demanding environment with measurable goals.
• Strong negotiation skills and proficiency with computers.

Responsibilities

• Present McClure Company offerings to target vertical markets (commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, government).
• Increase opportunities by identifying customer needs and presenting suitable products and services.
• Create targeted proposals and respond to questions and objections.
• Create cost estimates for HVAC projects and maintenance scopes of work.
• Survey mechanical systems, equipment, and job conditions.
• Maintain relationships to expand customer interaction and additional services.
• Self‑generate leads within identified vertical markets and regions.
• Leverage McClure Company offerings to grow opportunities.
• Build rapport with office staff, field personnel, and management.
• Become proficient in the McClure Company sales system.
