Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Applied Solutions Engineer to partner with the commercial sales team, delivering strategic HVAC training and technical support. The role blends engineering knowledge with sales enablement to strengthen customer value across North America.

The position is based in Charlotte, NC, with up to 50% travel. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in HVAC, plus strong MS Office and analytics skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 5+ years HVAC industry experience in applied sales, design, or engineering roles.
• Travel up to 50% across North America is required.
• Valid Passport or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Create, deliver, and maintain HVAC training programs and materials.
• Deliver technical presentations in-person and virtually.
• Promote Carrier solutions at national level through seminars and expos.
• Provide technical guidance and training support for software tool usage and improvements.
• Research HVAC trends and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Gather Voice of Customer feedback for program development.
