Job summary

Southern Air LLC is hiring HVAC Service Technicians in Lafayette, LA. This in-person role offers hourly pay plus commission and requires 1–5 years of service experience. A technical/trade school HVAC degree or certification is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy loads.

We offer uncapped pay potential, full benefits, and ongoing training with growth opportunities in a family-owned environment. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $120,000 per year.

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
• EPA Type II certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs

Education

HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
