Job summary

Southern Air of Louisiana is looking for a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Lafayette, LA. The position offers hourly pay plus commission, with uncapped earning potential and full benefits.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of HVAC service experience, a relevant degree or equivalent training, and a valid driver’s license. You will diagnose, repair, and service equipment, while advancing your skills through ongoing training and safety programs.

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.

What you will do:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer

• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs

Who you are:

• 1-5 Years HVAC service experience preferred
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
• Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
