Job summary

Southern Air NOLA in Metairie, LA is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The role offers uncapped pay potential with hourly pay plus commission and in-person work with strong focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year HVAC service experience required.
• HVAC degree or equivalent with trade school certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs

• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
• Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
