Job summary

Southern Air of Louisiana is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Lafayette, LA. The role offers hourly pay plus commission and requires hands-on diagnostic and repair work on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years HVAC service experience preferred.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical school.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs.
