Job summary

Southern Air LLC in Monroe, LA is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, present equipment recommendations, and deliver top-notch customer service in a busy field service environment. This full-time, in-person role offers uncapped pay potential with hourly wage plus commission.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years HVAC service experience required.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR required.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• EPA Type II (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50lbs.
