Job summary

Southern Air in Baton Rouge is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment while delivering value to customers.

The role offers uncapped pay potential, hourly pay plus commission, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid holidays. In-person work with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years HVAC service experience required.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school preferred.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs.

What You Will Do

Who You Are

• Ability to handle heavy equipment
