Job summary

ComfortWave is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair residential systems, explain options clearly, and deliver 5-star service on every visit. You’ll be the trusted expert working with a supportive team and using precise craftsmanship to keep customers comfortable.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, safe operation of hand and power tools, educating customers, and documenting services.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC license required (apprentice considered for other roles).
• NATE certification a major plus.
• 21+ years old with valid driver's license; clean driving record.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Operate hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and maintain furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
• Provide outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills.
• Educate customers on their systems and maintenance requirements.
• Help customers identify areas to improve their home comfort systems.
• Document services performed and recommendations in logs and records.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• Journeyman license in HVAC (Apprentice accepted for other positions)
• NATE-Certified is a huge plus!
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old to meet company driving‑insurability requirements; however, candidates who are 19 or older may be considered with a clean driving record.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus!
• Mechanical aptitude
• Some knowledge in electrical or plumbing is preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
• Attention to detail
