Job summary

Delphi Technologies is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. You'll work on hot air, boiler, water heating, A/C, and heat pump systems, providing professional service to customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HVAC, EPA refrigerant certification, CETP certification, and a valid driver's license. You will use tablets/mobile apps to complete tasks and join a team that values safety and growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service experience or completion of an HVAC Apprenticeship.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort using tablets and mobile apps to complete jobs.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair HVAC systems including hot air, boiler, water heating, A/C, and heat pumps.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct HVAC issues.
• Use and maintain modern industry tools.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service and communicate options clearly.
• Assist with payments as needed and collaborate with teammates to ensure success.
• Contribute to on-call schedule and maintain professional appearance.

Status: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt
Pay: $56,000 - $90,000 per year (plus opportunities for additional earnings through commissions, bonuses, and spiffs)

What You'll Bring

• Preferred: 2+ years of HVAC service experience or completion of an HVAC Apprenticeship
• Valid driver's license
• EPA refrigerant certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year - company provided)
• CETP certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year - company provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professionalism under pressure and solid communication skills
• Comfort using technology, including tablets and mobile apps, to complete jobs efficiently

Physical ability to:

• Climb ladders/stairs and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces
• Maneuver up to 200 lbs. with equipment or team lift
• Work outdoors in varying conditions
