Job summary

Service Experts is seeking an HVAC Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial equipment. You will communicate with customers, resolve issues, and promote our products and services.

The role includes on-site servicing with opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training. The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of HVAC experience, HVAC/EPA certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ HVAC experience and technical training certification
• Must possess all valid licensing or certifications as required by local laws
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied environments

Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision on residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls
• Diagnoses and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely manner
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks
• Promotes products and services to customers and follows up on replacement product sales leads
• Maintains company property, vehicles, and tools and communicates status to dispatch
• Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction and professional conduct
