Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Champaign, IL is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers, resolve issues, and promote products and services, under supervision of a Field Supervisor or GM.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC training, and EPA safety certifications; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
• EPA and safety certifications required
• Valid licensing or certification as required by local laws for the work area

Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional manner
• Diagnoses and performs services on HVAC equipment and related accessories
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to identify potential problems
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed
• Communicates with dispatch to keep status up-to-date
• Delivers excellent customer service and promotes products and services
