Job summary

Service Experts is seeking an HVAC service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will work under supervision, apply diagnostic tools, and deliver courteous, professional service while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of HVAC experience, EPA certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. We offer extensive training and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of HVAC experience with technical training certification required.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Must be able to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs residential and light commercial service calls under supervision.
• Diagnoses and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Diagnoses and services heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment and identifies potential problems to prevent failures or callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Responsible for delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Communicates with dispatch to provide accurate status reports of activities and availability.
• Delivers excellent customer service and sustains high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Promotes products and services to customers; communicates leads to Sales/Service Coordinator.
• Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are properly accounted for.
• Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters.
• Follows standard procedures and maintains stocked vehicle; returns defective warranty parts.
• Performs similar/other duties as needed; maintains regular attendance.
