Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC service technician to diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems on-site. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting while delivering excellent customer service and accurate records using handheld devices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with HVAC training, EPA and safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 0-2+ years of experience.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the geographical work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Communicates with customer to answer questions, resolves problems, and ensures satisfaction.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional manner.
• Diagnoses and services heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Delivers parts and equipment needed to complete service work and records information on a handheld device.
