Job summary

Elmer's Home Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician I to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems. You will travel to customer sites daily, ensuring quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of air conditioning experience, is dependable, and committed to safety and compliance. The position offers full-time hours, company truck, and ongoing training to advance within the service team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years air conditioning experience required.
• Travel to homes and businesses daily as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems in the AC and perform diagnostic repairs.
• Familiar with new equipment and high-end communicating systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems on residential and light commercial sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of HVAC equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and discuss all solutions with customers.
• Generate sales on every call and renew maintenance contracts where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate inventory of HVAC tools and parts.
