Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning seeks an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers, ensure satisfaction, and promote services. You’ll work under supervision with a Field Supervisor or GM.

You must have 2+ years HVAC experience, EPA and safety certifications, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work flexible hours, including on-call shifts. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years’ HVAC experience and technical training certification required.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems professionally and promptly.
• Diagnose and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed for service work.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork; collect payments when required.
• Coordinate with dispatch for status updates and availability.
• Promote products and services to customers and generate sales leads.
